About Us

WHAT WE BELIEVE

It is God’s purpose to call out of this world a church, the body of Jesus Christ, which shall be built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ as chief cornerstone, and which will consist of all who have repented and accepted Christ as Savior and Lord; and,

God has ordained and set ministry gifts in the church, which shall be exercised according to the Scriptures. We shall not permit politics to destroy our fellowship, and that our services and meetings shall be for fellowship, worship, and for the edification of the Spirit; and our purpose is to perpetuate the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in an unadulterated form.  It is our desire that the foundation of this fellowship shall be Truth and that the Holy Bible be known as our textbook.

THE SIX “Cs”  Are essential to the team building of the leaders and members of the church. We strongly believe in:

1.       Character

2.    Commitment

3.       Competence

4.    Communication

5.       Chemistry

6.    Compromise

THE SCRIPTURES INSPIRED: The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct ( 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21).

THE ONE TRUE GOD: The One True God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent “I AM”, the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind.  God is manifested in three personalities: The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit:

A.     God, the Father - Jesus said, The Father is greater than I (John 14:28)

B.     God, the Son - Jesus Christ, the only begotten of the Father (John 1:14; John 1:1; and John 1:18).

C.     God, the Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit proceeds forth from both the Father and the Son (John 15:26; John 14:16).

D.     Other Scriptures that bear witness (Deut. 6:4; Isa. 43:10-11; Matt. 28:19; and Luke 3:22).

THE DEITY OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST: The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God.  The Scriptures declare:

A.     His virgin birth (Matt. 1:23; Luke 1:31-35).

B.     His sinless life (Heb. 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22).

C.     His miracles (Acts 2:22; 10:38).

D.     His substitutionary work on the cross (1 Cor. 15:3).

THE FALL OF MAN: Man was created good and upright; man by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God (Gen. 1:26-7; 2:17; 3:6; Rom. 5:12-19).

THE SALVATION OF MAN: Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward His Son, Jesus Christ.  By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes heir of God according to the hope of eternal life (Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Rom. 10:13-15; Eph. 2:8; Titus 2:11; 3:5-7).

WATER BAPTISM: Immersion in water, in Jesus Name (Matt. 28:19), and is for converted believers who have turned from their sins and the love of the world (Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12; 1 Peter 3:21).

BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: All believers are entitled to and should seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ.  With it comes endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8).  The baptism is manifested by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Isa. 28:11; Acts 2:4); Joel 2:28-29).

THE LORD’S SUPPER: The ordinance of the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) was instituted by Christ Himself; a memorial of His suffering and death (1 Cor. 11:23-26); and a prophecy of His second coming; and is enjoined on all believers tell He come!  Bread and unfermented grape juice, consecrated to this purpose, are symbols of His flesh and blood (Matt. 26:26-28).

DIVINE HEALING: The Atonement made by Christ provides for the healing of human physical ills, through the prayer of faith; by anointing with oil; and the laying on of hands (1 Peter 2:24; Isa. 53:5; James 5:14-15; Mark 16:18).

SANCTIFICATION: Sanctification is an act of separating from that which is evil, and of dedication unto God (Rom. 12:1-2; 1 Thess. 5:23; Heb. 13:12).  The Scriptures teach a life of Holiness without which no man shall see the Lord (Heb. 12:14).  By the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to obey the command, be ye holy, for I am Holy (1 Peter 1:15-16).

SECOND COMING OF CHRIST: We believe in the imminent personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ in glory and power, at which time the dead in Christ shall be resurrected, and together with worthy Christians who will not have died, shall be translated in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and be caught up to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thess. 4:15-17; 1 Cor. 15:51-52; Acts 1:11).

THE FINAL JUDGEMENT: The resurrection of the wicked dead will occur after the Millennial Reign of Christ, and both small and great will be judged according to their works.  The unsaved will be cast into the Lake of Fire, which has been prepared for the devil and his angels and is everlasting (Rev. 20:11-15; Matt. 25:33-41).

TITHING: We believe tithing is the divine plan for financing the propagation of the Gospel, and while the payment of tithes is a Christian duty, the giving of offerings is a privilege and a gauge of consecration.  Tithing came with faith under Abraham; Moses’ Law continued in practice; Israel was subject to it; and Jesus endorsed it (Gen. 14:20; Malachi 3:10; Matt. 23:23).  Paul commanded proportionate giving (1 Cor. 16:2).

THE CHURCH: The church is the body of Christ (Eph. 1:22-23); consisting of regenerated believers (1 Cor. 12:13); and has a divine commission to perform (Matt. 29:19-20).

THE MINISTRY: A Divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for the three fold purpose of leading the Church in: [1] Evangelization of the world (Mark 16:15-20); [2] Worship of God (John 4:23-24); and [3] Building a body of saints being perfected in the image of Christ (Eph. 4:11-16).

MARRIAGE: Marriage as instituted by God is only recognized by God and the Church (the body of Christ) as being between a man and a woman.  As evidenced by the apostle Paul in Ephesians 5:31, For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.
